One term in office will not completely fix the damage that’s been done to the economy or the budget, says Shadow Treasurer Jim Chalmers.
“We would be inheriting a trillion dollars in debt,” Mr Chalmers said.
“We don’t pretend that an incoming government of either political persuasion can turn that ship around quickly.
