Europe houses some the world’s finest car manufacturers. European luxury cars have earned a big name for themselves around the world. While Germany alone carries a lot of Europe’s automobile weight, the whole bloc does have a robust car industry. This industry now faces an existential threat in the form of soaring energy prices that are only predicted to get worse. And it’s not like Europe’s automobile sector was having a rosy time when energy prices were not soaring. The Covid-19 pandemic, resultant supply chain disruptions and then the war in Ukraine did take a significant toll on the industry.
