Make sure you are asking the right question, which is not “What can I do to protect my money?” The only protection is to jolt governments back to recognizing that their legitimacy comes only from acting based on the “consent of the governed,” instead of on behalf of private corporate/financial interests. This means that the “governed” must know which networks are running governments, why they are doing what they are doing, and how to remove them from power.
