On September 25th, Italy will vote to elect a new government. This election promises to carve a massive dent in the West’s sanctions campaign against Russia. Let’s just say that those about to come to power in Italy belong to the right-wing. In fact, the term ‘far-right’ is being thrown around rather abundantly to describe the new generation of leaders that are set to take control of Italy. Here’s an interesting fact about this set of leaders: Almost all of them are, or have at some point, been admirers of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
