President Biden says he is running for reelection
President Joe Biden announces he is running for a second term, releasing a video saying “The question we are facing is whether in the years ahead we have more freedom or less freedom. More rights or fewer. This is not a time to be complacent. That’s why I’m running for reelection” Democrat Joe Biden could face in a rematch Republican former President Donald Trump… also a candidate for President in 2024, who put out his own video today, calling President Biden worse than the five worst presidents in American history put together. The House Republican bill that would raise the national debt limit to avoid a default later this year and also cut federal spending moves a step closer to passage, going before the House Rules Committee today to set the rules for floor debate this week.
