Britain’s new Prime Minister Liz Truss made her debut speech yesterday announcing her plans to strengthen the U.K.’s economy. Part of those plans include the Canada-United Kingdom Free Trade Agreement, which is currently being negotiated. U.K. High Commissioner to Canada Susannah Goshko said Truss ‘will be wanting quite quickly for us to conclude a free trade agreement with Canada.’Credit CBC News
